Echran builds up a common imaginary cinematographic landscape, where the...[Texto disponible solo en inglés] The main idea of Echran project, born in 2003, is to merge the dark ambient oriented audio experience of Davide del Col with the industrial-noise one of Fabio Volpi (a.k.a. Dies_). Echran builds up a common imaginary cinematographic landscape, where the soundtrack influences and deform the film materials used in the live visual set; those are improvised during the visual live set, based on a departing score/storyboard. Echran combines the extreme approach of a pure sound, free from a precise melody, with atmospheres recovering darker sonorities, environment they both come from, going beyond the limited frontiers of this genre and coming to more modern territories, with glitch aesthetics and starting again from the sample fragments at first transfigured and then let flow.
