After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2011 with a degree in animation she has worked on over 10 independent and broadcast commissions - ranging from a BAFTA nominated animation and a Channel 4 First Cut documentary all the way through to music videos for Session Victim, Manuel Tur and Scout Niblett. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2011 with a degree in animation she has worked on over 10 independent and broadcast commissions - ranging from a BAFTA nominated animation and a Channel 4 First Cut documentary all the way through to music videos for Session Victim, Manuel Tur and Scout Niblett. Marie has experimented extensively and developed a unique style of merging digital footage with 16mm animations. This, along with her unconventional soundscapes and experimental visuals, has been widely acclaimed such as her work with choreographer Rob Heaslip and her short film 'Coming Down’ which was awarded The Silver Palm at the 2012 Mexico International Film Festival.
