[Texto disponible solo en inglés] The installation consists of a top panel that measures 143 x 120 cm. The two sides will be tiled with white tiles (each measures 7.5 x 15 cm.) the tiles will be broken, crushed and blended so as to make possible, due to the presences of engines, the deformation of the walls and the progressive opening of a hole on each of the two sides. On each side of the artwork there will be Federico Baciocchi and I that, through our movements read by a sensor, will open and close the holes desperately trying to create a passage, a meeting point between the two openings, that will be possible only trough a coordinated action.
A video projection on the two surfaces of the artwork will interact with the performance through animated three-dimensional mappings. The sculpture will be further enhanced by sound material also generated by the interaction between the kinetic sculpture and the bodies of the performers that will give it life.
Gaspare Pellegrino will document the whole performance and the whole process of that event.
