Why we are called Spica?
Spica (α Vir / α Virginis / Alpha Virginis) is the brightest star in the constellation Virgo,
and the 15th brightest star in the nighttime sky. The name Spica derives from
Latin spīca virginis "Virgo's ear of grain". Spica is a close binary star system
that orbit about each other every four days.
We were born under the constellation Virgo. ;)
