[Texto disponible solo en inglés] I gratuated at the art academy with this work, that I want to show at the Live Performance Meeting. There are three dancers included who will perform in three objects with graphic visuals projected on them.
I bring the public in a trance with continuing music and hypnotic images. The images are deforming and multiplying while turning, which produces a kaleidoscopic effect. Step into a surreal world of geometric shapes and objects.
I am searching for a way to combine visual projections, dance and music and how they are optimally balanced and responding to each other. I am fascinated by how the dancer can manipulate and interact with the projection. I have a background as a dancer, I played the flute and I come from a musical family. It is therefore not surprising that these qualities are reflected in my work. I believe that the cooperation between different disciplines can bring the artwork to a higher level, by making a performance in collaboration with dancers and a DJ. Together we create a ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’.
I have experimented with different ways of projecting; for example by using several superimposed layers or projecting onto an semi- translucent cloth or three-dimensional objects. I also experimented with mirrors and what happens when the projection is reflected. I graduated with graphic projections, where the interaction with the dancer is at its best.
Can the digital world combine with the non-digital? The clear tones of the flute are combined with electronic sounds that can only be made by a computer. The craftsmanship goes along with the digital. Also the visual aspect of her work shows this combination: digital projections, a spatial object and the body of the dancer.

Qué se necesita
I need three beamers and three laptops/computers. I have one professional beamer myself and a laptop. If needed I can arrange two more laptops. So then I need only 2 more beamers. I work in the program Resolume Arena 5, so that must be installed on the laptops. I have a stereo for the music myself.
I need a hanging system for the beamers and a place where I can out the laptops/computers, so the public does'nt see them.
