She lives in Nancy and is involved in the artist studio Ergastule and she is codirecting GRAVE - groupe de recherches audios et visuelles expérimentales.
Her work is deployed mainly in the form of installations and audiovisual performances. The real time video manipulation enable her te develop the writing of non-linear narrations in which she questions our relations to memory and time. In 2018, she (re)discovers tapes from her family archives that she will, thereafter, constantly question and reinterpret within the corpus Variations et Souvenirs.

Her research explores the relations between image, sound and gesture and leads her to collaborate with a lot of musicians.
Jeannie Brie’s work has been selected in Eurovidéo 2015 (Liège, BEL) and the 31° instants vidéos at the Friche Belle de Mai (Marseille, FR). She had performed in France and abroad (LPM - Amsterdam NLD, Vision’R - Paris FR, Museum of fine art - Nancy FR, Musique Action #36 - CCAM- Vandœuvre FR, Vidéoformes- Clermont Ferrand, l’Oeil d’Oodaaq - Rennes FR…).
She is presently working on an immersive video installation based on her family VHS archives : Singuliers Pluriel (Singulars Plural). Her project is supported by the DRAC Grand Est, the Region Grand Est, the City of Nancy and the CCAM - Vandœuvre.
