[Text available only in English] Corviale Immersive Room is a space dedicated to immersive arts, audiovisual experimentation, and active community participation.
Located within Mitreo Arte Contemporanea, the project was conceived to transform a symbolic place of Rome’s urban periphery into a permanent center for cultural production, education, and audience engagement through digital technologies.

Corviale Immersive Room is an environment designed to host 360° audiovisual experiences, where images, sound, and space merge into a single sensory dimension.
Thanks to a multi-projection system, media servers, and dedicated audio infrastructure, the space can host:
- immersive audiovisual performances
- site-specific installations
- narrative videomapping
- XR experiences and interactive digital environments
It is not just an exhibition space, but a living environment in constant transformation.
Education, research, and production
The Room also functions as an open laboratory where artists, students, and citizens can acquire skills and develop new languages.
Activities include:
- workshops on videomapping, XR, sound design, and AI
- participatory labs with schools and local communities
- artistic residencies and mentoring programs
- production of original works co-created with the territory
Each project emerges from the intersection of technology, creativity, and people.
A project for the territory
Corviale Immersive Room places the neighborhood at its core, transforming it from a marginal area into a space of cultural innovation.
Through immersive languages:
- local stories become visual and sonic narratives
- Corviale’s architecture is transformed into a digital landscape
- the community becomes an active protagonist in the creative process
The project promotes inclusion, access to culture, and new professional opportunities for younger generations.
A replicable model
Designed as a stable and modular platform, Corviale Immersive Room is a prototype that can be replicated in other urban contexts.
It brings together:
- accessible technology
- continuous education
- participatory cultural production
with the goal of building new cultural ecosystems based on innovation and collaboration.
Who we are
The project is developed by Flyer New Media, active for over 25 years in digital arts and audiovisual languages, in collaboration with Mitreo Arte Contemporanea, a cultural hub active in the neighborhood since 2006, with the support of the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

On the occasion of the prestigious exhibition “Pino Pascali and the artists of the Scuola di Piazza del Popolo” (May 22 – June 21, 2026), MitreoIside APS-ETS, in collaboration with Flyer New Media, presents a 4-day intensive workshop aimed at creating one or more immersive artworks to be integrated into the exhibition path, within the new 360-degree projection room at Mitreo Arte Contemporanea in Corviale.
The workshop is addressed to artists, creatives, and audiovisual enthusiasts interested in developing original projects using contemporary tools and languages.
The works created during the workshop will be presented during the opening event on May 22.
The exhibition is part of IPER Festival 2026 “Super lieux. Periferie, storie e geografie”, curated by Giorgio De Finis.

MitreoIside APS-ETS, in collaboration with Flyer New Media, inaugurates the new 360-degree projection room of the Mitreo through a day of strong emotional and transformative impact.
By immersing ourselves in the dynamics of the color red, we will explore the limits and potential of this energy, which deeply influences our lives, particularly in areas such as physical well-being, abundance, grounding, and our ability to move through the world with ease and grace.
A path of awareness guided by artist, counselor, and art therapist Monica Melani, combining innovation with both ancient and contemporary knowledge. Through tools such as energetic painting using the melAjna ©® method, participants will experience a renewed impulse in their personal journey.
