Diez Años

[Texto disponible solo en inglés] "Diez Años" is a piece that explores a conceptual flash forward, ten years from 2022. The year when the composers started creating it.
It involves the exploration and separation of the self through time, space and cultures. Abstracting the point of view of the creators, transforming it into a panoptic view of the past, present and future they have seen, and wish to fulfill. The visual journey is built with analogue and digital technology in mind, projecting colorful curved vectors, distorted by harsh static. Meanwhile, the music goes from one place to anoher, developing and evolving with each language that it quotes.
A very important aspect of this piece is the fact that, by using a live camera in a closed circuit, the physical context in which it's presented, directly influences the visual and musical performance; without presenting it live, the piece itself is not finished.
