[Texto disponible solo en inglés] klein is a video project created by Carmine Masiello in the early years of the new millennium. He expresses through the languages of video installations, multimedia performances and VJ sets his idea of perceptual space. His work consists of painstaking research and manipulation of video material through different generative nature, gives rise to a dialectic of opposites and found in live performances the highest artistic expression. A work of collage on several levels that juxtaposes symbols and value consumer items to the human body and returns with the use of film sequences and footage self-produced, the collective imagination of contemporary. Iconographic representations that emerge in contexts for their unusual as a caustic Babylon of sign and meaningthat stands as a simulacrum of mass society.
