Karakter Live is an A/V performance appealing to the audience’s sensory and visual experience, introduces different characters and themes from the artists musical world.
The performance is a study of abstraction that is influenced by
a number of artists (Foodman, Flying Lotus, Max Cooper) for whom sound design and colour inspire thoughts and dreams; different and independent from the nature of their genres.
A sound palette, aiming not to describe or narrate a specific situation, but more to produce sensations and emotions, will be composed using a sequence of instruments, tones and tempo. Showcasing a conversation between eastern authenticity and western production styles using lush and ambient sounds blended to MPC sampling
techniques.
Visual images accompanying the music are inspired from complexities of imagination and daydreaming. Original animations from the artist are
performed and manipulated on stage by reactive MIDI and
motion controllers. After the earlier demos from "Create Your Karakter" EP got discovered and supported by BBC Introducing Radio Show, the record was signed and released from Amsterdam label Plaktone Records.
Currently Karakter is crafting a new EP and building his live
show for tour, as a part of his music technology and innovation study in Berklee Valencia.
