The Clássicos de Calçada inspiration comes from the mistake poetic exploration, based on surrealist wanderings. By this way, the artists interact with the place in order to achieve an emotional approach with the environment where the action will take place. The integration between sound and image is built in conjunction with the street experience during the execution of the situation itself, putting together the moments and the spaces in a unique event. The performances are developed in a singular manner. To realize that, all the visual programing was developed by us using Pure Data software, which is constantly being upgraded.
Technical description
Classicos de Calçada uses two image inputs: the first is formed by database previous recorded on the city where the action is performed end the second is formed by live captured images by an auxiliary external camera. Based on analogic images that simulate electronic interferences, luminance objects buyed on the streets are also used completing the textures and interferences at the visual action.
The sound is composed by beats and different layers with digital and analogical structures, set in motion and modified in real time. The Classicos de Calçada is divided in 4 tipofonies where the sound never fades to silent, therefore, is transformed from the visual narrative.
