Paulina Ptaszyńska works in the field of new media, multimedia installation, photography, printmaking and graphic design. In recent years, she has focused on issues related to light, encompassing areas on the borderline of art and science. In most of her projects, besides the phenomenon of light, she explores the physical world as a source of inspiration and reflects on human perception and understanding of reality. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad (Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, UK, USA). She is deputy director of the Institute of Visual Arts and co-leader of the multimedia studio at the Faculty of Art, the University of Opole.
